Bearly Tawl Infant Center
Welcome to our infant center!    Here we provide all the comfort and care of a home environment.   We have seperate sleeping, eating and playing areas.

Daily Activites

Our infant center is structured so that each child's individual needs can be met.   The individual areas will allow infants who are ready for a nap to sleep, while those who are not, can play without disturbing the others rest time.   We provide a variety of toys and equipment for each stage of development.   Our toys are rotated every day and washed before being used again.   Motor skills are encouraged and helped at each level of development.   They also have outside time on our infant deck.

Eating

Infants who are still using bottles are fed according to their own schedule.   They are each held until they have learned how to hold their own bottle.   Table eating for the older infants is done in a group setting after they are able to sit up unassisted.   For those able to eat table food, they will be provided with hot lunch finger foods.   We encourage them in learning to feed themselves.

What's Provided

We will provide each child with diapers, wipes, blankets and bedding.   The children do not share blankets or bedding.   These are washed on a weekly basis or more if needed.   The infant center is sanitized and cleaned on a daily basis.   Parents will need to provide all formula and baby food.

Infant Supervisor and Room Ratio

The ratio for our infant center is 5 to 1.   The Infant Supervisor is CPR and First Aid certified.

Visiting Nurse

Once a month we have a nurse visit the center.    She is a Registered Pediatric RN.    She monitors each child's development and will address any concerns the center or parents may have.

Security

Our infant building is equiped with panic bars at each exit.    This allows us to keep the doors locked from the outside at all times.    No one is allowed to enter unless we open the door for them.    However, from the inside the doors are kept unlocked during all hours of operation.    All designated parties picking up a child for the first time, that have not been introduced to the staff by the director, will have to show photo ID before the child will be released to them.
