The Wobbler Room
Welcome to the Wobbler Room!    This is the next room after the infant center, thus the name "wobblers".   The first group is the next room after the infant center.    The ages in the wobbler room start at about 1 year of age and go up to approximately 18 months old.   The ages in here will vary based on a child's mobility and readiness to advance.    Reports on your child's day and progress are sent home at the end of each day.
Daily Activites

Children in this room are exposed to art in the form of painting.    They listen to and make music.   Storytime is also provided in circle time.    Circle time is where will begin to work on lengthening their attention span.    Our toys are washed on a regular basis.   We provide dramatic play toys in each room.   Motor skills are encouraged and helped at each level of development.    Children also have outside time where they can utilize a variety of equipment to improve their motor skills.   The wobblers have their own seperate play area outsite.

What's Provided

We will provide each child with diapers, wipes, blankets and bedding.   The children do not share blankets or bedding.   These are washed on a weekly basis or more if needed.   The toddler rooms are sanitized and cleaned on a daily basis.

Group Leaders and Room Ratios

The ratio for our toddler rooms is 4 to 1.   The Group Leaders are CPR and First Aid certified.

Visiting Nurse

Once a month we have a nurse visit the center.    She is a Registered Pediatric RN.    She monitors each child's development and will address any concerns the center or parents may have.

Security

Our main building is equiped with panic bars at each exit.    This allows us to keep the doors locked from the outside at all times.    No one is allowed to enter unless we open the door for them.    However, from the inside the doors are kept unlocked during all hours of operation.    All designated parties picking up a child for the first time, that have not been introduced to the staff by the director, will have to show photo ID before the child will be released to them.
